10-day visit in Kansas City, Mo.

Dr. R. R. Goldstone of Woodrow Wilson Ave. has returned from

a few weeks' visit in, Sarasota, Fla.

Mrs. David Freedman of Glendale- Ave. has returned from
Paris, Tex., where she spent the last fortnight visiting with her
son, Pfc. Seymour E. Bass, who is stationed at Camp Maxey, Tex.

Mr. and Mrs. David Nushzno of Cherrylawn Ave. returned from
a visit in Miami Beach, Fla.

Cpl. Louis Lichtig, who has recently returned from service in
the Aleutian Islands, has gone back to his post at Fort Worth, Tex.,
after a three weeks' furlough spent with his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Edward Lichtig of Burlingame Ave.

Cpl. Isadore Buchman, who recently returned from service in
the South Pacific, will leave on Friday for Fort Sheridan, Ill., after
a short furlough spent with Mrs. Buchman in their home in the
Seward Hotel.

Mrs. Joseph Ellison has returned to her home in Los Angeles,
Calif., after a visit with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs.
David Bogel of Glynn Ct.

Ellman - Schreiber: T h e mar-
riage of Miss Bluma S. Schreiber,
daughter of- Mr. and Mrs. Nathan
Schreiber of Longfellow Ave.,
and Irving M. Ellman, son of
Mrs. Harry Ellman of Roselawn
Ave., was performed on Sunday
evening, April 16, •at Hotel Stat-
ler, Rabbi Leon Fram officiating.
Miss Helen Soloman, the
bride's attendant, wore a wine,
aqua and beige print crepe gown
with a wine bolero jacket to
match. Her bouquet was of aqua
tinted carnations.
The groom's brother, S/Sgt..
Seymour Ellman, came from Ft.
MacArthur, San Pedro, Calif.,
to serve as best man. Nat Kar-
ash was usher.
The bride wore an exquisite
gown of ivory satin with an off-
the-shoulder effect with tiny
seed-pearls running below t h e
shoulder, a fitted basque, long
sleeves and tiny seed pearls re-
sembling tree branches covering
the hoop skirt and four-yard
train. Her crown was made up
of all seed pearls and a full-
length veil. Her bouquet consist-
ed of white fuchsias in a wheel-
shaped c i r c l e with two white
orchids in the center.
A purple orchid was worn by
the bride's mother with a royal
blue gown and a matching
jacket covered with a royal blue
Sequin.
A purple orchid was also worn
by the groom's mother with a
long-sleeved kelly green gown
with a beaded front of matching
kelly green.
The groom has another broth-
er, Pvt. Jack E 11 m a n , who is
stationed in the South Pacific.
On their return to .the city,
after a trip to Los Angeles, Mr.
and Mrs. Irving Ellman will re_
side at the Lee Plaza Hotel.
