Center Next WedneSday
Three sound films dealing with
the war will be shown at the film
program next Wednesday, at 8:45
p. na., at the Jewish Community
Center.
"The Arm Behind The Army,"
story of industry's role in the
war, "Combat Report," showing
actual engagement between army
bomber and submarine, and "War
on Wheels," depicting a task bat-
tle in Tunisia, will be shown.
Film programs- are free to Cen-
ter members, and a nominal fee
is charged for non-members.

Holiday Hop on Sunday
An avenue of United Nations'
flags will grace the walls of the
auditorium at the fourth Holiday
I-lop this Sunday evening at the
Jewish Commu-
nity Center.

tra will provide
the rhythms for
this United Na-
tions dance.
Smith and his
band are well-
known as Victor
LeRoy Smith Recording a r t -
ists, and have played in numer-
ous night clubs throughout the
country. A novelty event will
again be featured during the in-
termission.
Diane Rosenblatt, Anne Stern
and Evely Richwerger will man
the refreshment booth at the
dance. Sarah Goldberg, Shirley
Lefkowitz and Lillian Miro will
serve as ushers. The following

Marriage Counselling Course
By popular demand Miss Betty
Koronsky will begin another ele-
mentary course in Marriage
Counselling next Wednesday, at
7:30 p. m., at the Jewish Commu-
nity Center. She will give four
lectures to women only. An ad-
vanced course will be scheduled
for another evening. Registra-
tions should be made immedi-
ately.

Saturday Victory Dances
The informal bi-weekly Satur-
day night Victory Dances will
continue tomorrow at the Jewish
Community Center at 9 p. m.
Dancing, party games, and snacks
will highlight the dance. Mem-
bers of the Center and their
friends are invited.

War Workers' Social .
At the Sunday afternoon social
the war workers will feature a
musicale under the direction of
Sylvia Friedman. These informal
gatherings at the Jewish Commu-
nity Center take place every Sun-
day, 4 to 7 p. rn. Recordings will
provide music for dancing. Re-
freshments will be served.

Mothers' Clubs Favor
The Green-Lucas Bill
Mothers' Clubs are concerned
with the passage of the Green-
Lucas Bill, authorizing the Fed-
. eral Government to grant men
and women in the armed forces
the right to vote. Members and
their fsriends are urged to write
their Congressmen immediately.
..The Council of Mothers' Clubs
went on record opposing the Sub-
stitute Bill, which would shift
the responsibility to the states.
