Home Relief Society is receiv-
ing a flood of appreciative letters
from service men and women
thanking the Detroit women's or-
ganization for the Hanukah gift
packages they have received.
Under the direction of Mrs.
Harry M. Shulman, more than
100 packages were mailed—
among them one to a WAVE,
Helen Faye Katz, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Saul Katz of Fair-
field Ave., at the Great Lakes
Naval Station.

Palestine Question
CINCINNATI — Members of
the executive board of the Union
of American Hebrew Congrega-

a Nazi prisoner. Lt. Marx, 23,

York affiliates. An additional
sum of $1,000 is to be raised by
a group of friends within the
Amalgamated. •

frin Club of Detroit, present

Basketball League, will oppose
the Dow team of Midland, Mich.
The Dow team is coached by
Eirerett Shelton, formerly of
Wyoming University, whose team
last year won the National Col-
legiate basketball championship,
in New York.
