The Raskin family held its traditional annual meeting last
Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Morris Schwartz
of Pingree Ave. in observance of Yom Kippur and the birthday
of Mr. Schwartz.
Lt. and Mrs. Sol Lindenbaum (Dorothy Wolk) were home on
leave for 10 days. Mrs. Lindenbaum is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs Morris Wolk of 9321 Wildemere. Lt. Lindenbaum is the son
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lindenbaum of El Dorado, Kan. Since Jan.
26, 1942, Lt. Lindenbaum has been stationed at Camp Barkeley,
Texas, with the U. S. Army Medical Corps. After graduating from
El Dorado high school, he was graduated in 1936 as honor man
from University of Kansas, where he majored in political science.
For three years he was a student in Harvard University School
of Law from which . . he was graduated in 1939. In January 1940 he
established a law office in El Dorado, Kan., and two- years later
entered military service. Mr. and Mrs. Wolk entertained for the
newlyweds Saturday night. Lt. and Mrs. Lindenbaum left Sunday
for Camp Barkeley, stopping enroute to visit with Lt. Lindenbaum's
parents at El Dorado, Kan.
