Entertainment for Lieba Moss,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abra-
ham Moss of Hamilton avenue,
in honor of her forthcoming mar-
riage to Pvt. Herbert B. Wein-
garden, son of Mrs. Clara Wein-
garden of Boston boulevard, be-
gan with a tea given by Mrs.
Ann Zald, Mrs. Myron Rosen-
thaul, and Harriet Nochman on
May 19.

A shower in her honor given
by her future sisters-in-law, Mrs.
Albert Dicken and Roberta (Bob-
bie) Weingarden, May 26 at the
home of Mrs. Dicken.
A gadget shower given by Mrs.
Max Aaronson, Sylvia Dennen-
berg, and Ilene Morof, at the
home of Mrs. Max Aaronson, on
June 2 was given her with 15
guests attending.
On Monday evening, June 4, a
shower by Mrs. Nathan Baker,
Mrs. Asher Moss of Grand Rap-
ids, and Mrs. Harmon Moss, at
the Rainbow Caterers.
A brunch was given on Sun-
day, June 10 at the home of

Sabse Meisels, to. Merl Rubin of
New York City on June 26.
The bridegroom will be called
to the Tora June 23 at Bnai Zion
Synagogue (Humphrey Shul). It
will be the first time in Detroit
that a person will be called at-
tired in the traditional streimel
and kaftan.
Of the more than 400 guests
expected at the wedding, about
100 will be rabbis and their fam-
ilies who are related to the bride
and groom.

REGINA KASSEL

Mr. and Mrs. Aaron M. Kassel of Atkinson avenue announce
the engagement of their daughter, Regina, to Joseph I. Yanich of
Leslie avenue.
Miss Kassle attended the University of Michigan and the School
for the Art Institute of Chicago. She plans to attend Cranbrook
Academy in the fall.
Mr. Yanich received his B.A. from Wayne University and
studied in Israel as a member of the Jewish Agency's Institute for
Youth Leaders.
He is doing graduate work at the University of Michigan schobl
of social work. The wedding date has been set for Sept. 2.
