Carmen Cavallero, the famous
pianist, and Dorothy Shay, the
"Park Avenue hillbilly," will
headline the annual spring fes-
l dance of the Greater De-
t Bnai Brith Men's Council,
April 10 at the State Fair
Grounds Agricultural Bldg.
Moe Miller of Brandeis Lodge
and Harry Gilbert of Cinema
Lodge are chairmen, assisted by
Harry Yudkoff, Dave Katzman,
Gabe Glantz, Mike Falk, Louis
Vardon and Phil Rothschild.
Tickets are on sale at the
Council office, 712 Farwell Bldg.,
CII. 7838, Grinnell's and the
cigar stand of the Tuller Hotel.
They also may be purchased
from members.
Proceeds will go to Hillel and
to the Bnai Brith Youth Organi-
zation.

You can have a vacation in
"Miami" without leaving De-
troit.
Instead of packing your bags
and buying a train ticket for that
fabulous city, you merely have
to hop over to Central High
School at 8:45 p.m., Sunday.
At that time, the curtain will
go up on the Pisgah Women
Theater Guild's production of
"Miami," a musical comedy
which has been weeks in prepa-
ration.
You can get tickets from Mrs:
Marvin Levy, UN. 1-9103, or at
the door.
The following evening at 8:15,
the chapter will meet at Bnai
Moshe for another night of en-
tertainment.
Members will be treated to a
variety show by the Wayne Uni-
versity Hiliel Players and an
Eternal Light radio drama,
"Chassidic Tale," by the BBYO
Talent Troupe.

Members of the Tikvah Chap-
ter of Bnai Brith will form the
audience for.._ the play, "I Ac-
cuse You," to he presented at a
chapter meeting by the dramatic
group of the Northwest Hebrew
Sisterhood.
The session will take place at
8:30 p.m, Tuesday, in the Beth
Aaron Synagogue, Mrs. Seymour
Weissman, president, announced.

Michigan Regional
Reunion Planned

FROM MARCIE 27 to 29, Bnai
Brith Girls from all of Mich-
igan and Windsor will get to-
gether for their second annual
Michigan regional convention.
Registration will take place
March 27 at BBYO Headquarters
to be followed by a barn dance
at Magnolia Stables.
Sunday will feature a morning
seminar, banquet (in Windsor)
and a stunt night.
On Monday a business meet-
ing will be held and officers
elected.
