Rose Rifkin Bride

March 28 has been set as their
wedding date by Flora Beckman
and Max Hoffman. Congregation
Shaarey Zedek will be the scene
of the nuptials.
The bride-elect is the daughter
of Mrs. Meyer Beckman of Bos-
ton boulevard west and the late
Mr. Beckman. Her fiance's par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. Isaac
Hoffman of LaSalle Gardens
north.
Rose Rifkin, daughter of Mrs.
Ida Rifkin of Clements avenue
and the late Abraham Rifkin,
and Markus Jacob Hechler, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Ilechler,
were united in marriage last
Saturday at Zack's.
The bride wore a gown of
ivory satin with a beaded neck-
line, fitted bodice and skirt that
ended in a long train. The
sleeves came to a point over
the wrists and her veil of illu-
sion fell from a crown of bead-
ed seed pearls. She carried a
Bible adorned with white or-
chids.
Sally Gordon was maid of
honor. Junior bridesmaid was
Marilyn }Lechler; bridesmaids,
Shirley Sirota, Lorraine Shatz
and Audrey Lipsky; and flower
girl, Barbara Shultz.
Best man was Isadore Ifech-
ler. Frank Galdman, Robert
Ifechler and Joe Halberg served
as ushers. -
