One of Detroit's most popular
delicatessens, Lefkofsky's in the
Broadway Market, last week
marked 35 years at that site.
The delicatessen was established
in 1896 on Hastings street, then
moved to Gratiot and finally to
Broadway Market.
Lillian Lefkofsky, widow of
Harry who shared the manage-
ment for many years with his
brother Goodman, is now the
sole proprietor. The business is
operated as the Mrs. Harry Lef-
kofsky Sandwich Bar.

Highlight of the program will

Northwest Hebrew Congregation.
Entitled "A Festival of All
Jewish Holidays," the play was
written by Mrs. Joshua Sperka.
