Above , is the kind . of work Jewish boys with mechanical
aptitudes have been taught in the Moser Industrial Training
School under the supervision of Louis Moser. Moser is seek-
ing to reopen this school and to offer training as tool makers
to youths who would at the same time be producing revenue
by manufacturing items on a production line basis. Moser
believes that there are many boys here who do not think
themselves "too good" for manual arts and who would make
excellent craftsmen. He believes they are being kept from
attending schools like this by bad vocational advice and social
taboos. He solicits the support of industrialists, educators and
others in his plan to reopen the school for the training of
Detroiters including youths planning to prepare for life in
Palestine. Moser is not asking for contributions. Among those
who have vouched for him are Rabbi Morris Adler, Fred M.
Butzel, Harvey H. Goldman, Karl B. Segall and Morris
Schaver. For information, call the Chronicle editor, CA. 1040.
