BNAI BRITH HIGHLIGHTS

Survivor Thanks Pisgah Lodge to Hear
Marshall B and P Dr. Briekner Monday

Expresses Gratitude
for Relief Supplies

As part of its program of aid
to overseas survivors, the Louis
Marshall Business and Profes-
sional Women has adopted fam-
ilies in Europe.
na Lewis, chairman of the
gr , has just received a let-
ter of thanks from Ernone Fish
of Budapest. Following are ex-
cerpts:
"Thanks very much for the
package, which I received and
is very much appreciated. I can-
not describe the joy my old
mother had when she saw these
things in the package and now
we can give them to my two
children and younger sister. I
would like to ask you if you are
sending a package again. I
would prefer some warm cloth-
ing.
"I work in the factory and it
le hard for me to buy clothes
for my two children and old
mother. It is cold here and we
do not have enough fuel to heat
the house.
"I have a little girl five and
a boy six. I would like to be
able to provide for them with
my work at the factory but my
earnings are not enough for
proper food and clothing. Some
day I hope to be able to go to
Palestine.
"Again I would like to tell
you how happy we were to re-
ceive your package. Many peo-
ple are getting packages here
from America, but we never re-
ceived any as we have no 'rela-
tives in America and I always
wanted to get something from
America, for my children's sake."

Dr. Barnett R. Brickner of Cleveland, nationally-renowned
Rabbi, will speak at an open meeting of Pisgah Lodge at
8:30 p.m., Monday, in the main auditorium of the Jewish

Center.
The session is open to mem-
bers, their families and friends,
