Mrs. Morris Adler will be
guest speaker at the meeting of
Pisgah Women at 9 p.m. Mon-
day in the Bnai Moshe audi-
torium. She will speak on Pal-
estine and Bnai Brith contribu-
tions to Palestine.
Pisigah Women have invited
members of the Greater Detroit
Bnai Brith Women's Council to
be their guests at this meeting.
Reports will be given on the
progress of the Bnai Brith Wo-
men's fund-raising appeal, which
will culminate in a ball Nov.
29 at the Masonic Temple.
Mrs. Lewis Manning, presi-
dent, will preside, and Mrs.
Samuel Gold, program chairman,
will introduce the speaker.

The Labor Zionist Organiza-
tion of Detroit has announced
the opening of its 1947 Feder-
ated Campaign.
Here as representative of the
drive's national office is Nahum
Weissman, former special agent
in counter-intelligence in Gen.
Patton's Third Army.
Born in Turkey, Weissman
received his Ph. D. from thg
University of Paris. During the
war, he was in charge of the
largest internment camp for the
interrogation of Nazis.
Morris Lieberman. is chair-
man of the local campaign.
Those assisting include Morris
L. Schaver, Harry Schumer,
Benjamin Laikin, Sidney Shev-
itz, Alex Nichamin, William
Hordes, Nathan Linden, Bernard
Milinsky, Mr. and Mrs. H. Mon-
dry, David Sislin, Jack Schreier
and Louis Rose. Overall goal
is $50,000.
This drive will be on behalf
of all the organization's activ-
ities, which include the LZO's
expansion fund, Habonim Youth
Organization, Habonim Institute,
Yiddisher Kemfer Magazine,
Jewish Frontier Magazine, Far-
band Folk Schools, Jewish
Teachers Seminary and Euro-
pean Relief and Rehabilitation
Fund.

Women are inviting all girls,
ages 18-25, to their first mem-
bership tea of the season Tues-
day, Sept. 30, at the home of
Leah Gladstone, 2733 Leslie ave-
