Sarabelle Jalan, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. David Jalan of Muirland
avenue, was united in marriage
recently at the Hotel Whittier to
Charles A. Gersten, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Dan Levy of Oakman
boulevard.
Mrs. Harry D. Rovin served her
sister as matron of honor and
Joyce Katz, Pearl Clicker and
Myra Kagan were bridesmaids.
Arthur Berhandt was best man
and LeRoy Wisper, Murry Koblin,
Mickey Keati and Harry Rovin
were ushers.
The bride, a graduate of the
Lear School, also attended the Uni-
versity of Miami. Mr. Gersten,
an Army veteran, attended Wayne
University,

Mrs. Maxwell Gold and daugh-
ter Marilyn entertained at a
luncheon Jan. 25 at their home in
honor of Miss Ruth Lesser of
Glendale avenue, bride-elect.
