On Wedding Trip to South and West Edith Sucher Feted
at Pre-Nuptial Affairs

The marriage of Sarah Deitch
of Tuxedo avenue to Richard D.
Goldsmith, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Hersch Goldsmith of Gladstone
avenue, was solemnized recently at
Congregation Beth Abraham.
The bride was given in marriage
by her brother and sister-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Irving Deitch.
Attendants were maid of honor,
Onny Goldsmith; best man, Sam
Deitch; bridesmaids, Evelyn Deitch,
Sara Hoff, Sally Margolis and Es-
telle Goldsmith, and ushers, Mil-
ton Amernick, Morry Hoff, Arn-.
old Margolis and Morry Novetsky.

Several pre-nuptial affairs were
held in honor of Edith Sucher,
who was married recently to Ern-
est J. Schwartz. They included a
luncheon at the Hotel Statler for
125 guests given by Mrs. Albert
Schwartz.
Mrs. F. Alexander and Mrs. W.
Strauss were hostesses at a lunch-
eon at the Wardell-Sheraton Ho-
tel. Mrs. Harold M. Sucher was
hostess at a similar affair at the
Hotel Book Cadillac.
A dinner party was given by
Mrs. Bernard Sucher in her home
on Oakman boulevard and Miss
Connie Schwartz was nostess at a
spinster party.

Miss Mildred Brightman and
Miss Faye Stollman are spending
the weekend in Jackson, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Buckner
of Pontiac are visiting in Los An-
geles and Palm Springs, Calif.

Mr. and Mrs. Morris Fein of
Holly, Mich., are sojourning in
Miami Beach.

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Appel of
Clements avenue are back from
a short stay in Chicago.

Mrs. Henry Leitson of Cleveland
have left for Miami Beach after
a short stay in Detroit.
