Goldsmith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hersch Goldsmith of Gladstone avenue, was solemnized recently at Congregation Beth Abraham. The bride was given in marriage by her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Deitch. Attendants were maid of honor, Onny Goldsmith; best man, Sam Deitch; bridesmaids, Evelyn Deitch, Sara Hoff, Sally Margolis and Es- telle Goldsmith, and ushers, Mil- ton Amernick, Morry Hoff, Arn-. old Margolis and Morry Novetsky. Several pre-nuptial affairs were held in honor of Edith Sucher, who was married recently to Ern- est J. Schwartz. They included a luncheon at the Hotel Statler for 125 guests given by Mrs. Albert Schwartz. Mrs. F. Alexander and Mrs. W. Strauss were hostesses at a lunch- eon at the Wardell-Sheraton Ho- tel. Mrs. Harold M. Sucher was hostess at a similar affair at the Hotel Book Cadillac. A dinner party was given by Mrs. Bernard Sucher in her home on Oakman boulevard and Miss Connie Schwartz was nostess at a spinster party.
