Shown here are some of the 31 national education, welfare and
civic leaders named to a national voluntary advisory pangi on juvenile
delinquency by U. S. Attorney General Tom C. Clark. The panel met
in Washington February 11 and 12 and drafted an 11-point program.
Left to right: Henry Monsky, president of Bnal Brith, who was elect-
ed chairman of the Program Committee; J. Edgar Hoover, head of the
FBI; Mrs. LaFell Dickinson, president, General Federation of Wo-
men's Clubs; Attorney General Clark; C. Frank Koch, Federal Coun-
cil of Churches of Christ in America; Howard L .Doyle, president, U.S.
Attorneys' Conference; David W. Armstrong, executive director, Boys'
Clubs of America.
It is indeed commendable and it should be viewed with great
satisfaction and pride, that a representative of the Jewish faith, Mr.
Henry Monsky, is part of such an important committee. . . It is just
another proof of the prestige of Bnai Brith. •
