Hear Editor Tell
Of Foreign Affairs
Members of the League of
Jewish Women's Organizations
thronged into Temple Beth El
last Monday to hear Victor H.
Bernstein, acting foreign editor
of the newspaper PM, give his
views on foreign affairs. Between
35 and 40 Detroit Jewish wom-
en's groups participated in this
a ffair.
Mr. Bernstein was optimistic
about the postwar era. He was
emphatic in saving that he ex-
pects no ti ouble between the
United States and Russia be-
cause of geographical barriers
and also because the United
States and Russia do not com-
pete either commercially or for
spheres of influence.
The editor also declared that
Americans have been misled
about Poland and that the ma-
jority of Poles in Poland are
against the London Polish Gov-
ernment. He also declared that
Russia might help the Polish.

The suggestion of the Council
on Dental Education of the
American Dental Association that
"racial quota" policy directed
against Jews be adopted by the
dental schools in the United
States is "a gratuitous insult to
the more than 500,000 Jews in
'he armed services of the United
States," it was declared by
Archie H , Greenberg, national
commander of the Jewish War
Veterans of the United States.
Responsibility for the proposal
to base admission to dental col-
leges on racial, religious and geo-
graphic grounds was placed at
the door of the American Asso-

Administrative Committee of the
