forts in making plans for their
twelfth annual donor event, which
is scheduled for Sunday eve, Jan.
10, 1943.
A series of parties have been
planned to stimplate interest in
this affair. The first successful
party was given at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Shore, on
Curtis Avenue, and was followed
by an all-day indoor picnic, which
took place on Sunday, Nov. 8. The
second will be held on Nov. 1 ,1,
the traditional annual party given
at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Moishe Dombey at 3294 Waverly.
The series will be continued by
many more events at later dates.
The women of the Sholom
Aleichem Reading Circles carry
on their cultural activities in the
Yiddish language, and help main-
tain the Sholom Aleichem Schools
whose aim is to perpetuate Yid-
dish education.
