GORRELL BAND CONTRIBUTES 100% TO WAR BOND DRIVE

Drew Pearson at Cass
Town Hall on Nov. 20

Bettie Taylor's "For Dancers
Only" revue has danced its way
into its second big week by
popular demand at Club Three
666. The production offers a
vetilth of entertainment and a
superlative sepia cast of sepia
I,erformers headed by Count Le-
roy, sensational novelty dancer;
the Three 661; trio, Baybelle,
Frankie and Polly, who score
heavily with their smart uniform
tap steps, and Bunny Briggs,
suave and clever tapper. Other
Three 666 favorites who con-
tribute generously to the dancing
carnival are Sugar Cane, femi-
nine tap star; Marcellus Wilson,
singing and dancing master of
ceremonies, who sets a lively
tempo for the proceedings; Mor-
ton "Swing" Brown, juvenile
lead; Prince Albert, lyric tenor,
and the Taylorettes, lovely danc-
ing octette. Bettie Taylor has
produced some entrancing pre-
cision routines that blend per-
fectly with the costume coloring
and 'lighting effects. "Lanky'
Bowman's orchestra plays for
(lancing and the revue. Organist
George Sanders and Joa-Anna's
songs provide the interlude en-
tertainment.

Drew Pearson, America's ace
newspaperman and radio com-
mentator will give his candid
camera story of political news
and comments, "The Washington
Merry-Go-Round" at The Detroit
Town Hall in The Cass Theatre
next Friday morning at 11
o'clock, Nov. 20.
Mr. Pearson is one of the lead-
ing experts and writers on for-
eign affairs in the United States.
His extensive contacts make him
one of the greatest sources of in-
formation in Washington.
A luncheon to honor Mr. Pear-
son follows his lecture at 12:30
at The Book-Cadillac. Call Cadil-
