To be able to vote at the Presidential elections on Nov. 5, all
citizens must be registered not later than Oct. 16.
Those who have not yet registered should do so at once. There
will be registrations at the City Hall daily from 8:30 a. m. to 5
p. m. up to and including Wednesday, Oct. 16. For the convenience
of those who are unable to register during the day, the City Hall
registration office will be open from 8 a. m. to 8 p. m. on Oct. 14,
15 and 16.. There will be no district registration prior to Nov. 5.

During the U. J. A. broadcast,
Dr. Israel Goldstein, national co-
chairman, will deliver a brief
message on the significance of
the New Year and Day of Atone-
ment for the Jewish people in
the present world upheaval. Jos-
eph Schuster, distinguished first
cillist of the Philharmonic Sym-
phony Orchestra, will play the
traditional Kol Nidre, while other
High Holiday music will be pre-
sented by the choir of Congrega-
