On Tuesday, Prof Albert Ein-
stein, his daughter, Margot, and
his secretary, Helene Dukas,
were admitted to citizenship at'
Trenton, N. J., by Federal Judge
Philip Forman, who said Dr.
Einstein's "presence here be-
comes America's gain."

at their new quarters in the
new Educational Center, 11535
Linwood. The first season's
meeting will be a social on Oct.
12. J. Newberg is president and

The Ladies Auxiliary launched
its drive for their second donor
luncheon. The chairman and co-
chairman are Mrs. Abe Stonbom
and Mrs. J. Klayman. Mrs. Israel
Burnstein is pledge director and
Mrs. J. Greenbaum and Mrs.
Sam Fox are chairmen of the
rummage committee. Mrs. L.
Lichtenstein heads the publicity
committee.
The ladies have opened their
rummake store, and urge friends
and members to do their rum-
maging to earn their pledges.

being completed for the sessions

the conference banquet will be
held on Saturday evening, Oct.
19, and that a dance will con-
clude the festivities on Sunday

held on both days, and guest
speakers will include Rabbi Philip
R. Bernstein of Rochester, N. Y.,
Rabbi Jacob J. Weinstein of Chi-
cago and Dr. Samuel Wohl of

services were held Monday after-
noon, with burial in Chesedshel
Emes Cemetery. Surviving him

Cemetery, Rabbi Morris Adler
officiating. Mrs. Marcus had been
a resident of Detroit for 30 years
and was active in many chari-

zations. She is survived by her
husband, Joseph, a son, Roy, her
