birthday at a luncheon in the
dining hall of the seminary. Dr.
Cyrus Adler, president of the
seminary; Alexander Marx, pro-
fessor of history and librarian;
and Dr. Israel Davidson, profes-
sor of mediaeval llebrew litera-
ture, were the guest speakers.
Zev K. Nelson, president of the
student body, acted as chairmen.
The luncheon was attended by

dents in the rabbinical depart-
ment.
