Theological Seminars, of Amer-
ica. was honored on his 65th
birthday at a luncheon in the
dining hall of the seminary. Dr.
Cyrus Adler, president of the
seminary; Alexander Marx, pro-
fessor of history and librarian;
and Dr. Israel Davidson, profes-
sor of mediaeval llebrew litera-
ture, were the guest speakers.
Zev K. Nelson, president of the
student body, acted as chairmen.
The luncheon was attended by
th faculties of the seminary and
Teachers Institute and the stu-
dents in the rabbinical depart-
ment.
I'rof. Ginzberg is the author
of the seven-volume "Legends of
the Jews" and many other works
of scholarship. Ile is president of
the American Academy of Jew-
