The Vaad Ilakashruth of De-
troit announced this week that a
Consumers' Kashruth League is
being formed, to be composed of
members of ladies' auxiliaries of
synagogues and other organiza-
tions. These ladies will visit stores
and will urge the owners to co-
operate in the enforcement of the
laws of kashruth—not only in the
sale of meats but also all other
food articles.
Storekeepers are urged to re-
ceive these volunteers courteously
and to co-operate in efforts in be-
half of kashruth.
