the announcements of the changes
in Detroit's downtown theater poli-
cies. With the opening of "Swing
Time" at the Madison Theater, this
popular house located on Grand
Circus Park and Wider Woodward
Ave., becomes a companion theater
to the United Artists Theater for
the first-run showing of special
feature screen attractions.
The Madison will close at mid-
night Wednesday, Sept. 30, to per-
