and special correspondent, reveal-
ed encouraging figures as to the
financial status of the group.
Mrs. Philip Gorelick, who chauf-
fered the residents of the Old Folks'
Home from the North End Clinic
during the entire summer season,
reported on the work of the motor
corps committee.
Reports were also made by the
following chairmen: Mrs. N. Ben-
jamin, on the courtesy committee,
Mrs. Samuel Schwartz, on the pur-
chasing committee for the home;
Mrs. David Kliger, on publicity,
and Mrs. A. Zagal, on medicines.
Material for new pillows have
been purchased and a committee
under the leadership of Mrs. N.
Kaletsky will cut and stitch neces-
sary forms within the next few
days so that the new Home for
the Aged can be equipped with all
new pillows.
Mrs. Kaletsky, who is also chair-
man of entertainment, introduced
Mrs. Harry Clark who reported on
Jewish news of the day. The pro-
gram closed with vocal selections
by Mrs. George Weingarden who
was accompanied at the piano by
Mrs. George Brown.
A verbal picture of the layout
of the various rooms in the new
home was presented by Mrs.
Ferar.
At the board of directors meet-
ing at the Casa Loma a few weeks I
ago, announcement was made of
the appointment of Mrs. Ann
Rosen as assistant to Mrs. Albert
Homonoff, financial secretary.
The auxiliary now boasts of a
membership roll of 1440 members.
A donation was made by the or-
ganization to the altar services in
the home, in memory of their late
member and friend, Nina Deutsch.
Mrs. Anthony Deutsch also gave
a donation to the auxiliary in mem-
ory of her beloved sister-in-law.

groom's brother and sister-in-law,
completed the bridal party. Mrs.
Aidem chose black for this occa-
sion and wore white gardenias.

and Mrs. Sidney Aidem and
