BERLIN. — (J. T. A.) -- That 7,-
000,1)00 Germans voted the anti-Sem-
itic ticket during the recent Reich-
stag elections in Germany was the
assertion made by OberRegicrungs-
rat Dr. Costar, prominent Jewish
leader and Zionist. This fact, he de-
clared, is an indication that dark
times are approaching for the Jews
of Germany and it is, therefore, nec-
essary to put up a united Jewish
front in order to be able lccombat
the attacks of the anti-Senntes upon
the citizenship rights of the Jewish
pead e in Germany.

its wealth of power on hills and its mastery over

HE 1925 Chandler now offered to the public
represents the splendid result of eighteen
months' development.
No other car is more clearly abreast of the times.
None contains so many recent developments of
established merit.
A big, beautiful, modern car, it carries an as-
surance of master performance and sound service.

Genuine Balloon Tires

(No extra charge)

On the 1925 Chandler, genuine super-size
balloon tires are offered as standard equipment
without extra cost. Combined with Chandler's
scientific spring suspension, they provide a marvel-
ous, cushioned riding ease over roads of every
sort._ Regular size cord tires are obtainable as
optional equipment.
Thanks to the sureness of the downward shift
with the Traffic Transmission, Chandler owners
have long enjoyed the security of stopping short
without skidding or swaying. Now, in the 1925
model, this valued factor of safety has been aug-
mented by the addition of

service of thousands of owners. Their worth is
known beyond all peradventure.

This exclusive Chandler feature is a thoroughly
perfected unit. Other manufacturers are in the
midst of ambitious experiments with the princi-
ples it involves. Chandler success has brought the

JOHANNESBURG.—(J. T. A.)—

The approaching elections to the new
parliament in South Africa have
demonstrated the strength and im-
portance to which the Jewish com-
munity of that region has of late
grown. Jewish citizens are among
the candidates appearing on the tick-
its of the South African and Labor
parties.
The Jewish community as • whole
is taking a great interest in the elec-
tion which is to decide the fate of
General Smuts' government. No Jew-
ish candidates are on the tickets of
the Nationalist and Dutch parties.
The Jews are avoiding the introduc-
tion into the campaign of matters
specifically Jewish and are voting
1 only in accordance with their politi-
cal convictions.
