Women's European Welfare.

The last fleeting of the Jewish
Women's European Welfare Organiz-
titian was held at the Farnsworth
Synagogue Tuesday evening, June 10.
A report that the organization was
not issuing any more transportation
tickets to European orphans was de-
nied. The work of raising money to
purchase the tickets and to provide
for the orphans until they are adopt-
ed is being carried on as before.
. Members and friends have been re-
quested by the officials of the organ-
ization to inform the officers of any
orphans now in Europe who are suf-
fering from want. Thanks were ex-
pressed to the organization by Mrs.
Atlivaick for its kindness during her
recent bereavement.

held its election of officers at Temple
Beth El June 15 and chose the fol-
lowing: Speaker, Isadore Berger;

rectors is as follows: Jack Thumin,
Hyman Barahal, Samuel Gurovitch,

and Isadore Berger. The club will
resume its meetings the first Sunday
