Much interest is centered in social
circles this week about the annual
banquet of the Jewish \Voman's Club
which will take place Sunday evening,
January 25, at the Hotel Statler, as
it will undoubtedly prove, as evi-
denced in the past, one of the bright-
est events on the social calendar. No
efforts have been spared and an elab-
orate and unique program of enter-
tainment has been arranged. An in-
teresting feature will be an exhibi-
tion of interpretative and modern
dancing by Johnson and Johnson,
noted danors, formerly of Atlantic
City. A humorous vaudeville skit
will be presented in addition by Evans
and McCoy, two professionals. Danc-
ing will follow the banquet and enter-
tainment. Mrs. Melville Welt heads
the Banquet Committee. Miss Mild-
red Simons is in charge of the enter-
tainment; Mrs. Walter Ileavenrich of
the Music and Mrs. Mortimer Meyer
of the Dancing.

A delightful house party was given
in honor of Mrs. Dave Hirsch at her
residence, 163 Palmer Ave. East, last
Sunday evening by her friends, the
MiSses Hattie Harris, Lillian Wagner
and Sadye Korn.
