Otto Harbach and Rudolf F'riml, the
authors of Arthur Hammerstein's
musical success iatinka" have given
us in this piny a w' rthy rival of their
other popi1Ir productions, "The Fire-
fly'," '11gh Sinks," and "-You're in
I,64e." The songs of this piece are
itcidedly different I. from the :usual
string of nonsense syllables and one
ct the 'hits, "I Want To Marry a Male
Quartette,," has; a-keenly satirical idea
back of it. "Your Photo," 'atinka,"
"In a Hurry,' and the very popular
"Rackety Goo," are the other song
hits of the show.
The scenes )f the opera are laid in
Russia, 'turkey. and Vienna and the
piece is well staged. "Katinka" will
be the offering at the Whitney on Sat-
urday,.
