Five student publications serve the University of Michi.
\ gan campus.
The Michigan Daily appears six mornings a week, Tues.,
day through Sunday, with news of campus, local, national and
international events. Its editorial page comments critically;
on these events and is written by-staff members.
The Michiganensian, called, for linguistic convenience,
the "Ensian," happens every spring with some 500 pages of
pictures and comments on campus life and the institutions
that direct it.
;Gargoyle is a humor magazine, which it sometimes goes
to great lengths to disprove. Sometimes it is hilariously funny
and other times just funny.
Generation, a literary magazine, is the only campus
publication in which student-written fiction, poetry and essays
appear.
The Student Directory is published once a year, fortu.
nately in the fall; for it contains invaluable information on
how to reach every student either by mail or by phone.
