Men Appointed
To Law Group
The Association of American
Law Schools has appointed six
University Law School professors
to positions on several committees
for the coming year it was an-
nounced recently.
Those appointed were B. J.
George, Jr. to the committee on
foreign exchanges of law teachers
and students, John P. Dawson to
the committee on comparative
law, William W. Bishop, Jr. to the
committee on international law,
Alfred F. Conard to the commit-
tee on'law and psychology, Charles
W. Joiner and Lewis M. Simes.

Tomorrow
The sixteenth annual Chamber
Music Festival featuring the Buda-
pest String Quartet will take place
beginning at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow
in Hill Auditorium. .
Other concerts will be at 8:30
p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sun-
day.
T he Quartet, consisting of
Josef Roisman, violinist; Alexand-
er Schneider, violinist; Boris
Kroyt, violist and Mischa Schneid-
er, cellist will have as guest viol-
ist Prof. Robert Courte of the
music school.
Celebrating its twenty-fifth Am-
erican anniversary next season, the
Quartet first appeared in the Unit-
ed States in 1930 at Cornell Uni-
versity. A few days later they
played with much success in New
York.
The Budapest String Quartet
first played in the Library of
Congress in December 1938. Each
spring and fall they have con-
tinued to give a regular series of
concerts at the national library,
internationally famous as a music
center.
During their present tour the
Quartet will include at least one
work of Mozart on most of theif
programs in celebration of the
Mozart Bicentennial. They will
perform a number of Mozart,
string quintets with Prof. Courte
assisting.
