Sheers and silks, linens and
jerseys, are all used in the most
flattering ways. A great mjany
straws dyed in every color imag-
inable and in a variety of tex-
tures will be shown.
Flowers are used to a great ex-
tent as trimmings, which are most
important of all. Other accessories
such as small china birds and
flowers embroidered on veils will
be seen, but the greatest part of
the trimming will be with flowers
sprouting from the tops pf hats,
spiralling up on a single stem,
hanging by a thin thread, or peek-
ing out from under the brim.

Jam-less Zipper
Jam-less zippers have finallyI
been perfected, a manufacturerE
recently announced.
The firm has solved the prob-
lem by designing zippers with a
magic tab and tiny push-button.
When the button is pushed by the
tab, the slider rocks back on the
chain, springing the jaws and re-
leasing the fabric.
At first, the zippers will be put
only on higher-priced garments,
but will be introduced into the
popular-price dress and suit mar-
ket as production increases. In
addition to the new jam-freeing
feature, the entire zipper has been
re-designed for smooth operation.
