Happy dancers are shown enjoying the third annual war-time Victory Ball. Students, guests and friends came from all over to dance to the music of Hal
McIntyre and his orchestra. The weather was cloudy as thousands of dancers jammed the Intra-Mural Building to be a part of the biggest all-campus dance of the
year. In spite of the fact that expenses were kept at a minimum and decorations were virtually eliminated and in spite of Jimmy Byrne's curfew order which caused
the dance to end at midnight instead of a later hour and in spite of the competition of sorority rushing held on the same night, everyone had a good time. These
pictures were taken during the course of the dance and give a glimpse into the fun and gaiety which prevailed throughout the dance.
