Students, guests and friends came from all over to dance to the music of Hal McIntyre and his orchestra. The weather was cloudy as thousands of dancers jammed the Intra-Mural Building to be a part of the biggest all-campus dance of the year. In spite of the fact that expenses were kept at a minimum and decorations were virtually eliminated and in spite of Jimmy Byrne's curfew order which caused the dance to end at midnight instead of a later hour and in spite of the competition of sorority rushing held on the same night, everyone had a good time. These pictures were taken during the course of the dance and give a glimpse into the fun and gaiety which prevailed throughout the dance. I
