DON'T BE A PASSIVE LOOKER-ON in this vital war against your country's
enemies. Get into the thick of it the way every patriotic American civilian
can and wants to. Buy War Bonds and Stamps. Buy until you can feel .. .
honestly, sincerely, positively. . . that you are doing a vital part. Invest
every dollar you possibly can into War Stamps and Bonds (at compound
interest). To assure the flow of food and munitions and strength to our
rmen who are taking all the enemy can dish out. Your pennies, dimes,
quarters, dollars will provide the huge amounts of war supplies and
mnunitions needed to halt the enemy in his tracks.
DIG DEEP - DO IT NOW! Make this your all-out effort at a time when .
your cooperation counts most heavily. Go into any retail store and buy
enough stamps or bonds to make you feel good - today!

YES, FRATERNITIES AND SORORITIES have been working hard this far.
In just six days before Homecoming, they sold $29,500 in bonds and stamps.
Another fine example of the work that these organizations have been doing
was shown this past week-end. An all-out scrap drive, sponsored by the
I.F.C. and Pan-hel produced an amazing amount of valuable scrap.
Sorority women are doing hospital and Red Cross work, the men are
responding in a body to the call for labor by the Manpower Mobilization
Corps. And these organizations will continue to work and buy stamps and
-bonds - but we want to encourage every student to buy stamps and bonds
and to work on war time projects NOW - BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!
