Guest List For Formal Dance;
New Year's Eve Toy Be Theme
Helping to celebrate New Year's
Eve slightly ahead of time this year
(in keeping with the arbitrary deci-
sion of the central committee) Obe-
line Elser, '45Ed., will attend the j
annual Soph Prom, to be held from
10 p.m. to 2 a.m. today in the Union
Ballroom, with Charles Dotterrer,
'44, general chairman.
Natalie Lilienthal, '44, will accom-
pany Martin Feferman, ticket chair-
man. Co-chairmen of music, Dick
Emery and Jack Hooper, will be
present at the annual ball with Peggy
Ross, '44, and June Gustafson, '44,
respectively.
Guests Are Listed
Ralph Beuhler, finance chairman,
has invited Mary Reichert, '44, to be
his guest for the Prom, while patrons
chairman Nancy Hattersley will at-
tend with Richard Johnston, '44.
Harold Cooper, who is in charge of
publicity, will bring Thelma Davis,
'44, as his guest.
Phyllis Present, programs chair-
man, will be accompanied by Rich-
arid Posmantur, '43BAd., while Nan
Heenan, '44A, will be the guest of
Stanley Glassman, chairman of dec-

Dunham Will Play
Playing for the annual dance will
be Sonny Dunham, the man who
doubles on the trumpet and trom-
bone, and his orchestra. Appearing
on the Michigan campus for the first
time, Dunham is bringing his band
here after engagements in the East,
including Meadowbrook Club in
Cedar Grove, N.J.
