here's a song in the air... a song of Spring. The breeze
sings out as it whisks its way through budding trees . . . the
dogs are gay and barking at the new life they see all about
them. . . the beat of your heart quickens and provides a rhythm
for the symphony of Spring . .. the horns of passing automo-
biles that groan bleakly in Winter take on melodic sound in
this gay season... everything on earth has joined the over-
ture, fading now and again for a brilliant cadenza. a robin
chirping from a tree-top, or a bluebird in a lilac bush. This,
indeed, is the season for gayety. . . a time for new clothes to
reflect the song in our hearts, a time when every store in Ann
Arbor presents the finest offerings of the entire year.
