Proposed Water Rates Increase
to be Discussed by Board.
Four meetings, two of these
council sessions, will be held next
week, with the first meeting sched-
uled for 2 o'clock Monday after-
noon. At this time, the council
will act as a board of review.
A statement covering sidewalk
construction during the last sum-
mer will be presented to the boLaird
by W. A. Gingrich, city contractor,
and by private contractors. The
board also plans to authorize the
assessment of taxes for this work.
The board of appeals on city
building, state housing and zonin,
will convene at 7:30 o'clock Monde-,-
night, and on Tuesday night, th(
regular session of council will be
held.s
The proposed increase in water
rates, approved by the board of
water commissioners, and awaiting
final action of council before being
put into force, will be up for dis-
cussion. A hearing also will be
