Museum of Car, Aircraft Motors
to Play Prominent Part
in Open House.
Automotive displays will play ;a
prominent part in the engineering
exhibits of the Open House pro-
gram. A museum containing old
automobile and aircraft engines,
surpassed by few other museums
in the country, and a display of
model cars that will appear in the
future, on which tests have beeti
conducted for the manufacturers,1
will be opened to the public.
Tests on fuel, air resistance, and
chassis will be conducted in the
laboratory. In the R.O.T.C. drill
hall will be a special display of new
chassis, diesel aircraft engine, V-16
engine, free-wheeling transmission,
and non-inflammable oil.
PURDUE UNIVERSITY-Purduej
also has its hordes of high school
students who flock on the campus
for some convention or other. The
last convention to take place in La-,
Fayette was the meeting of high
school music-makers.
