The Michiigan water polo team has
beeni handicapped by a. lack of com-
p~etition this season. The Wolverines
(efeated Indiana, 4-2, but a 4-4 tic
with Wisconlsin blemished their re-
cord. Iowa and Minnesota did not
compete against Michigan in water
polo, although they net the Maize
and Blue swimmiers ins dual insets.
The Gophers have no te'a , while
Iowa did 'not liring 'their water pnolo
squad to Ann Arbor.
The Illini water poloists have made
an impressive record this season.
They, vanquished Purdue, 14-1, Wis-
consin, 10-2, and Indiana, 12-2 . Chi-
cago offered more competition, losing
6-3, while the final victory was scor-
ed against Iowa.
Northwestern's water poloists have
played only two games, winning from
Pilrdue, 6-2, andi Wisconsin, 11-5.
