cent years, is placedl upon the exi:;t-
ence of two distinct governing hoards,
each antagonistic to the other, in the
finding of the special committee ap-
pointed by the Presbyterian general
assembly at Baltimore last June, to
investigate conditions at Princeton.
"jThe report will be submitted to the
general assembly at the meeting in
San Francisco May 26-June 1 inclu-
sive.
Placing the entire blame for the
present, condition at the semina'ry upon
'Ithe presence of two factions as a gbv-
erning bodly, the committee, in its re-
port, recommends that the as3sembly
appoint a committee of men thoroughly
learned in the law of' the Presbyteriank
church to establish a sin~gle governing
board. It is 'honed that this would
remedy the situation, and put a. stop,
to the exaggerated reports of the divis-
ions and hostilities at the seminary.
