University Library Sunday Op~enig:
The main reading and periodical rooms only are open on Sunday. The
hours are 2 to 9 P. M. Books shelved in other parts of the Library Building
may be put on reference in the main reading room for Sunday use on appli-
cation Saturday evening at the desk from which they may ordinarily be
drawn.
This does not apply to books shelved in buildings other than the Library.
Most books in the Departmental Libraries may be drawn for hoe use over
Sunday during the last hour the Dprtmental Library is open on Saturday.

To the Faculty and Student, Colege of Engineering:
On Monday, October 18, at 3:15 p. in., the Ingersoll-Rand Company in-
vites the faculty and students of this College to the Michigan Central Sta-
tion to inspect the new Oil-Electric Locomotive, perfected by that company
in cooperation with the General Electric Company and the American Lo-
comotive Company.
This Oil-Electric Locomotive is one in which an internal combustion
engine, using low cost fuel oil, drives an electric generator which furnishes
power to motors geared to the driving wheels.
