Two courses, one in political phil-
osophy and the other a study of
Kant, will be given in the Summer
sission by Dr. Alfred Cyril Ewing, of
Oxford university, it was announced
yesterday by Dean Alfred FL. Lloyd of
the Graduate school.
Dr. Ewing's course in political phil-
osophy will deal with the contract the-
ory and the rights of the individual,
Mill's idea of liberty, Rousseau's con-
ception of will, and, the idea of the
Sstage,.hIls second course will b~e a
study of Kant's "Critique of P~ure
Reason" and wil be in the form of a
seminar.
Dr. Ewing is a graduate of Univer-
sity college, Oxford, and has p)ublish-j
er a volume titled "Kant's Treatment
of Causality."
