Contracting Ray Miller's 12-piece .
orchestra of New York City and the
Royal Canadians, an 11-piece organi-'
nation now playing in the ClevelandI
"music Box", as the two main orchles-
tras for the evening, the J-Hop corn-
inittee now has the majorp'art of the
music arranged for the annual jno
affair. The third orchestra, one to~
play with Miller's organization in
Waterman gym, is still unsigned, al-!
though several from the southern and
eastern parts of the country are uin-
der consideration.
Ray Miller's musical group is the
original Brunswick recording orches-
tra, having worked in that capacity
for more than 6 years. It comes to !
the Hop well recommended fronm all
parts of the country, members of the
committee state; music has been fur-
nished by them for prominent east-
ern college social affairs, they were
engaged for the Detroit Auto show,
and are now playing at the Addison1
Hotel in Detroit. Lt! the near future
a broadasting station is to be erected
at that hotel especially to broadcast~
the music of Miller's orchestra. RayJ
Miller himself will direct the groupI
when they plays here Feb. 5.
The Royal Canadians can be heard,
on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
when they are broadcasted at the 1
"Music Box" in Cleveland, Ohio. ;c
Every effort is being made by the:f
J-Hop committee to insure the en-'
forcement of their resolution on ther
liquor question. A stand against li-
quor . in any form being present atz
the Hop has been agreed. to by each
committeeman.1

adopted as the favor for the girls
attending the prominent Junior social
affair. The cover of the folding frame
will be emb~ossed with the gold Mich-
igan seal. The frame is held in an
upright position by a short, narrow
strap.
Men attending the Hop will receive
a black leather cigarette case. The
inside of the case is lined with a steel
band, and the out side will be deco-
rated with the Michigan seal.
WJR, the broadcasting station at'
the Book-Cadillac hotel will receive
the music and announcements from
the Hop over a specially leased wire.
Trhe Official time of the music is from
10 o'clock until 3 o'clock.
