Senate Council:
The second meeting of the Senate Council for the year will be heldi on
Monday, November 3, at 4:15 p. in., in the President's office.

University Women-House Presidenits :
All signing-out slips for the month of October must be turned in to the
office of the Dean of Women before November 10.

University Women:
Michigan women attending the Ohio State Game at Columbus, are required
to sign registration slips and pay the chaperonage fee in the office of the
Dean of Women before noon of Friday, November 14th. Nc) permission to go
upon the night train will be granted after that time.
The special round-trip tickets for the 0. S. UT. game permit no stop-overs.
To stay over night in Columbus will cost $7.44 additional railroad fare. Wo-
men desiring permission to remain must ask their prospective hostesses to
write directly to the Dean of Women before Friday, November 14th.

Publications Scholarship Prizes:
The Board in Control of Student Publications, in ordler to fost er a higher
standard of scholarship among those engaged in work upon the student pub-
.11cations, is offering three annual cash prizes amounting to $500 (a first
prize of $250, a second prize of $150 and a third prize of $100) to those main-
taing the highest scholarship records while working on the several publica-
tiops. The, prizes will be awarded each year between the opening of school
and the Christmas vacation. To be eligible for a prize a studtent must have
done satisfactory work on some one publication or publications, for at least
four semesters. The work need not, however, have been continuous. Any stu-
dent now in the University who wishes to be considered as eligible for one
of the prizes to be awarded this fall is requested to fill out a blank for that
purpose, which may be obtained at the Publications Office in the Press
Building. Only those who file applications will he considered. All applica-
tions must be filed on or before November 15, 1924. Additional information
in regard to the prizes may be obtained at the Publications Office.

Sophomore women who are interested in writing or in journalism are in-
vited to a tea at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at Betsy Barb~our house.

The Board of Representatives of the Women's League will hold its first
and very important meeting Saturday, November 1, at 10:00 a. in., in B3ar-
bour Gymnasium. The presidents of all organized houses are expected to

Members of the Interfraterniby Council are urged to send two re])resenta-
