Parking Rule:
No cars may be parked anywhere on the campus or on the grounds
of either of the University hospitals without official parking permit at-
tached to each license plate. The Superintendent of Buildings and Grounds
will enforce this rule. By order of the Regents. ..

To Those Communicating to the Regents:
It will be necessary to have thirteen, instead of the usual twelve, cop-
ies of all communications addressed to the Board of Regents for the meet-
ings of November and December. Those making communications to the
Board at these two meetings are therefore requested to prepare thirteen
copies. F. E. Robbins.
Health Lectures for Women:
All new women students who expect to receive - credit for Health
Lectures taken elsewhere will file credentials from the other schools in the
office in Barbour Gymnasium before October 15th.

Economics 3 -
Seating lists for lectures are posted in Economics Building and New-
berry Auditorium. Students who have requested changes of section should
lock at the lists posted near these seating lists to see to which section they
are changed, if changed at all. Students who have recently joined the class

The following is the topic for the first exercise in Philosophy I, due
Thursday, October 18. Write a critique of Common Sense Knowledge com-
menting particularly on its range, its consistency, and the method by which
it is acquired.

Tryouts For the Women's Debate:
Tryouts for the Women's Michigan-Ohio State debate for independents
(those not members of the Portia or Athena societies), will be held Satur-
day, October 6, at 8 A. M., in Room 302 M. H. A five-minute talk should be
presented on some phase of the question: "Resolved, That the Towner-
Etirling bill should be enacted". Complete knowledge of the question is not
expected, nor is previous experience in debating necessary for this tryout.
