Senior women will wear their caps
and gowns during the ceremony and
-will pass lanterns on to the junior Wo-
men who will wear sport clothes.
Freshman and sophomore women will
be dressed in white.
The University band will furnish
music fdr the procession which will
be preceded by field games, the fresh-
men pageant and supper on the field
for all University women. Several
houses have made known their inten-
tion of giving up dinner on this night
so that their women may attend the
supper on the field.

Miss Deatriec Ward, of W ashing-
ton, D. C., is secretary of the National
Conference on State Parks. She has
her office in the Interior DepartmentI
of the United States government and
her duties are to carry on an exten-
sive correspondence wih governors of
states urging thema to establish areas
for recreation and preservation of wild
life whichl would be -known as statel
parks.
Miss Ward is a most charming young
woman and the youngest to hold such
an important post in the government
service. She believes that before
many years the country will be dot-
ted with beautiful state parks.

Latest reports from Ada MJulhiolland,
undergraduate secretary, show that
the University women as a whole are
' still responding actively to the drive
f or life memberships in the University
League.
Annountcement has been made that
unless the team captains .get, intheirj
reports by 4':30' o'clock it will be im-
possible, fn the future for the reports
to be put in The Daily the following
day.
