The University band will furnish music fdr the procession which will be preceded by field games, the fresh- men pageant and supper on the field for all University women. C., is secretary of the National Conference on State Parks. She has her office in the Interior DepartmentI of the United States government and her duties are to carry on an exten- sive correspondence wih governors of states urging thema to establish areas for recreation and preservation of wild life whichl would be -known as statel parks. Miss Ward is a most charming young woman and the youngest to hold such an important post in the government service. She believes that before many years the country will be dot- ted with beautiful state parks.
