Young men in good health and
weighing about 150 pounds are want-
ed as blood donors at the University
hospital, The men wishing to be of
service in this way are asked to re-
port at once so that their blood may
be tested and classified.
The blood is classified into four
qualities and when it is needed in
treatment of anaemic or disabled pa-
tients the man whose tests showed the
desired quality of blood is sent for:
Men wishing to report for the test
are asked to see Dr. D. M. Morrill at

Urge Women to Enter
In this year's tryout, it is especially
urged by the public speaking depart-
ment that women come out for the
team. Athena, the women's literary
society, will offer six members. In-
dependent debaters, it is expected, will
furnish more material.
Men and women who do not make
the final Central Debating teams may
also try out for the Midwest Debat-
ing league. The latter team joins in
debate with the Universities of Wis-
consin and Illinois. Tryouts will
start either just before or just after
the Christmas vacation.
