OF MUSIC FACULTY, WILL EN-
TERTAIN LIBRARIANS
The second concert by the faculty
of the school of music will be given
at 4:15 o'clock this afternoon in Hill
auditorium. Although the recital is
in honor of the Library association,
the student body and general public
is welcome.
The program is to be given by Mr.
Earl Moore, head of the organ depart-
ment of the school of music, and Miss
Ada Grac, Johnson, of the vocal fac-
ulty, and includes the following num-

Advisory Committee Hours Announced
Members of the faculty advisory
committee for first year students will
hold office hours, as scheduled below,
from 4:00 to 5:00 o'clock this after-
noon, Monday, October 18, and Thurs-
day, October 21, in the outer room of
the office of Dean John R. Effinger, of
the literary college. Students desir-
ing to consult this committee are cor-
dially invited to do so at the hours
named.

Hobart Guild Reception Tomorrow
Hobart Guild, the Episcopal stu-
dents' organization, will hold its open-
ing reception and dance at Harris hall
tomorrow night at 8:00 o'clock. This
first reception is complimentary to all
students in the university who have
expressed a preference for the Epis-
copal church, and any such men or
women who have not received an i-
vitation to the party may obtain same
by applying to the curator of Harris
hall any time this afternoon or to-
morrow afternoon.
Clinical Society Chooses Officers
At its regular monthly meeting held
last evening in the amphitheater of
the University hospital, the Clinical
society elected the following officers
for the ensuing year: President, Dr.
U. J. Wile; vice-president, Dr. H. B.
Schmidt; secretary and treasurer, Dr.
Reuben Peterson.
