IRemember that four athletic offices
will be filled on Saturday.
Remember it is your duty as a menh-
ber of the athletic association to get
oer to the polls and vote.
RemenIber that your coupon book
-ill have to be presented if you get in
your vote. To make sure, better put
the look on your person now. Other-
ivise you may forget.
Remember to vote for the men you
feel confident will best represent the
student body in case they are eventu-
ally elected from the board of direct-
ors to the board in control of athlet-
ies. This is the real significance at-
taching to the coming election.
had for only twice that amount.
It should be unnecessary for the old
arguments to be advanced, for the old
syllogisms to be re-presented. The
fact remains, however, that Michigan's
record in debating is one of her proud-
est possessions and one that we all
hope will be maintained; this debate'
is held at home; there is no inspiration
to the speaker like the inspiration of
a cheering audience; and it therefore
lies with the student body to inspire
Michigan's debaters tomorrow night to
the extent of winning the debate, or
to fail to inspire them not impossibly
to the opposite extent. For this rea-
son, if for no other, the audience
should be somewhere nearly in pro-
portion to the importance of the func-
tion. Let us hope it will be.

"Little Boy Blue."
"Little Boy Blue," the French-Scotch
operetta, appears at the Whitney the-
ater tonight. It will be presented here
by the original company and with the
identical production on view during
the, New York run. Otis Harlan, one
of the most popular of comedians,
heads the cast. As is his custom with
all his musical plays, Mr. Savage .pro-
vides an orchestra which travels with
the company and is thoroughly famil-
iar with the score.
$ "Peter Pan."
Barrie's first mention of "Peter Pan"
was in a volume of short stories called
"The Little White Bird." The news
that Mr. Frohman was to revive the
work with Miss Maude Adams proba-
bly caused more pleasure tan any
other annonucemenut that was made
for the present season. The actress is
to be seen as Barrie's youthful hero
at the Whitney theater on Monday,
January 20.
At the Majestic.
Instead of the regulation vaudeville
program at the Majestic theater there
will be presented for the last three
days of this week starting tonight a
regulation one ring circus with all its
attendant features. This is not in any
sense a burlesque circus but the real
article with a troupe of man eating
trained lions as the star attraction
supplemented by daring aerialists,
clowns, acrobats, comedy and trick bi-
cyclists and numerous side show fea-
tures. Matinees Friday and Saturday
at 3:00 o'clock.

HELP BEAT CHICAGO,
About four years ago Michigan held
an important debate on the same night
with an important in-door track meet.
The next morning's Daily bore the
result of the track meet in box-car
headlines and the result of the debate
in type so small it had to be hunted
for, and on the third page at that.
When questioned about it, the editors
of the Daily defended themselves on
the ground that the relative import-
ance given the two events in their
columns coincided perfectly with the
relative importance given the two
events in the minds -of the student
body.
To the shame of the student body,
it must be admitted that there was in-
genuity and some merit in their de-
fense. It should be the effort of every
serious student on the campus to
change this relation till it more nearly
approaches an equation. Tomorrow
night Michigan meets Chicago in de-
bate here. Admission may be had for
fifty cents. Two admissions may be
